2013 United Kingdom, Scotland, Northern Ireland Trip

Hello all!

We had a very busy day with packing and cleaning the house before we left. I HATE coming home to a dirty house, because when you get in you just want to relax, have a cocktail, and love your doggies.

The Scots gave us plenty of Scottie attitude today while everything was going on, but they will be happy to see their Uncle Brian and Aunt Ria, THANKS GUYS!

We are sitting in the Delta SkyClub relaxing. We breezed through security even with all my diabetes paraphernalia, got padded down and they even checked my supplies by hand instead of x-raying them. Kudos to Atlanta's International TSA for taking care with my life sustaining medications :) So many times I've had bad experiences with this, and today was one of the best. Makes a Diabetic happy!

At the SkyClub lounge at the International terminal there is an outside open-air deck where you can look over part of the airport and watch the planes taxi and takeoff. It was a beautiful sunset and we watched planes take off into the sunset. There was a nice breeze blowing and the temperature was just right. It was a very nice way to relax before the flight.

  1. I agree! Coming home to a clean house is so much more relaxing than if it was messy and unorganized. Maybe you will sleep on the plane! Have a wonderful time! Looking forward to your blog!! Hugs! Sandal and Jim
